pokemon series ep2 how did sam get a pokemon

all things happened like before again all creatures got life and evolved after arceus ended the universe 

arceus recreated the universe with help of 

dialga

palkia

and girantina

but instead of animals there were pokemon and humans were there.....

2000 years later......

sam (to himself- tommorow i can get my own pokemon!!!!) 

next day....

sam- oh my god!!! i woke up late!!!!

*he rushes to prof. pokecatcher 

sam- sorry i am late i want charmander!

prof- if you came earlier you could have got it but sad you came late...

sam ok then squirtle- 

prof- the person who came early got it i dont have any pokemon now....

sam - not even 1 pokemon :_( plz tell the truth not even 1?

prof 1 is there but there is a problem with it!

sam- ok i wamt it plz 

prof- ok have it...

prof- go pokeball!

*uses thunderbolt
