My Latest OTB Game

This game that I show and annotate was my latest Over-the-Board game.  There is several lessons to be learned from this game as you will see. This game was played in the last round of a 2-day, 4 round open tournament. I had, earlier in the 2nd round missed opportunies to beat a 1900-rated player in the middlegame and only drew in a wild endgame. Then, diaster struck in the 3rd round when my opponent played a dubious counter to the Steinz Varition of the French but I recaptured with the wrong piece, then gave up my e5-pawn, and finally gave up a pawn accidently.
