A pretty end oughtn't justify the inattentive means

During this game I was paying more attention to the chess I was writing than to the chess I was playing. I challenged myself recently to use the browser for nothing but chess when chess was in the browser, but writing is as great a distraction as the web. In any case, I'm probably playing too much chess.
