Two Pinning Brilliants!

Hello users! Today I will introduce you to my first ever double brilliance! This event was an exciting experience for me, I hope when reading the blog, you'll get really interested because...

Well, these brilliants are all similar to pins, you know when there's a piece but you can't move it because it brings the opponent a given chance to win material and be in a winning position. A piece can pin that "piece" for all that to happen!

This is called

"Pinning or Pin"

Or "PP on the PP", PP on the PP means Put Pressure on the Pinned Piece.

Alright, finally time to show you the game that I witnessed!

That game was in my favor anyways.. Here's the details!

I was white in the position.

Opening : Queen's Gambit Accepted

My accuracy : 82.0

My brilliants : 2 brilliant moves

My blunders : 1 blunder

I got the center, developed my bishop, and kind of.. played some inaccuracy moves, yeahh... Anyways, I castled and after some moves, moved my queen a lot.. I do not know why tho. Then, they played a mistake! Leading to our queens, especially mine that moved a lot to be traded.

I got to my first brilliant move!  Nc4! Black can't take it because the knight is pinned to the rook! So they protected the rook so that now they could try and take the knight- free material so I took the free pawn and they moved their rook making me have a chance to make another brilliant move and I did! On the move "Nc4"

You won't believe it! The knights played brilliant moves ON THE SAME SQUARE, REALLY THO-

The same square I was talking about

"Nc4"

Footage :

I blundered after making the last brilliant move of the game, giving up the knight but.. the opponent simply missed my mistake and played "b5", I took the chance to attack the rook, they blundered too!

I didn't miss it, they blundered a fork so I took the chance to fork the rooks, after taking one of the rooks, I PINNED THE KNIGHT AGAIN and won material as well as the game.

They resigned....

Queen's Gambit Accepted :

The point of this gambit is to clear out the center, at least what I think of it.

The gambit results in the move "d4 d5 c4 dxc4"

Overall, I think I have been playing more brilliant moves nowadays and one of the games, I played a double brilliant move😉

Last thing, I'll include a puzzle and you can solve it if you want

Good luck!
