Let me try to understand this. Obamacare was supposed to save a household of four $2,500.00 per year in health insurance premiums--at least that's what President Obama said while he was in campaign mode. Last week the IRS--yes, the IRS--said that by 2016 a family of four can expect to pay at least $16,000.00 per year in mandated health insurance costs while a family of 5--two parents, three children was the model given--will pay $20,000.00 per annum, and that's at the "Bronze" (cheapest) level of coverage. "Silver" and "Gold" levels of coverage will be even more expensive. It gets worse. The IRS will be in charge of fining those who don't comply $2,400.00 per year for starters with the fines increasing year by year for those who don't buy into one-payer, i.e., GOVERNMENT managed, health coverage. The fine, by the way, pays for nothing in the way of health coverage. At the end of the day, Obamacare is intended to control the populace and put private health insurance underwriters out of business. Welcome, socialist Amerika! This is a complex equation in all its nuances, but one thing is for sure: Obamacare is another nail in the coffin of the Republic.
