Musings of an Intermediate Player
Greetings everyone.
I have decided to start a blog series here on chess.com. I am going to be writing about chess from my perspective.
Now, I know many people have done that already here on this site, and in all honesty, I don't think I'm anything special. I'm just your average, intermediate-level player. My hope is that that is exactly what will attract your attention, because I am capable of providing a relatable perspective on a topic which we all have in common.
Once a week, I plan to publish a "Game of the Week" from my own game archive, with some commentary and possibly a brief analysis. I also will occasionally publish posts about my perspective on issues (and non-issues) of the chess world.
I would be honored if you are interested enough to follow my blog. On this and every post, I welcome any feedback you may have. Leave a comment; raise a concern; ask a question; suggest a topic for me to discuss; give feedback on my games--I welcome it all.
I'm not a master or a patzer (I hope, anyway ); I'm a normal player just like you, and I hope you'll give me the opportunity to share with you, and to have some intelligent discussions in areas where we all relate.
Sincerely,
Isaac
