In the subway... from TWIC 1386

In a previous blog I've tried to present interesting recent games via videos in a more fast-watching way; i.e. only with arrows and colored squares, so, combined with a pgn, to be seen either with or without words. Since then I discovered that this option is given in the pgn readers, too...

So, both games are from TWIC 1386 and both from 8th Cherry Blossom Classic 2021 tournament [for final results check TWIC 1387].

Theodorou vs Hevia

A King's Indian Attack vs a French formation. It is fascinating the k-side pawn pressing and opening files. Something that I think it can be seen generally in the Barcza system, but maybe it was of the first times in this recent line...

Nyzhnyk vs Panchanathan

Maybe an opening novelty in the Bc4 line of the Vienna game. But also a fascinating sacrifice...

And a clean pgn for downloading...

....thanx for reading
