Ye Olde Chess Joke for Christmas

A group of chess players had gathered in the lobby of the The Plaza Hotel in New York City.  After an hour of each player trying to outdo each other with their past exploits, the manager finally came out and told them they had to leave. 

WHY...they asked??

The manager's response...

 "It is this hotel's policy NOT to allow chess nuts boasting in an open foyer."
