Today is D-Day

WW 2 (of 3).  60,000,000 people's lives were snuffed out.  That's 60 MILLION.  My grandfather's brother was one of them...................................

My dear dear Great Uncle.  I never met him, but I DO know what he sacrificed for me. 

Him and many many others like him. 

Those who never got the chance they deserved.

Sacrificed on the Altar of War. 

I cry for all the innocent victims...

on BOTH "sides"...

of THAT War...

and the one to come.
