The Comeback.  After a bad start this year, I was able to study chess a lot near the end of summer.  I think that this improved my play tremendously, right now I feel like I'm a master strength-wise.  One of the important things that helped my 100 point jump in just a few tournaments was psychological.  I really just felt completely focused during my games.  It was the clearest that I have ever calculated.  I no longer stare at positions blankly, looking at moves that my intuition tells me and just think "this move looks good".  Now I can actually calculate.  I have been a reading the book Recognizing Your Opponent's Resources by Mark Dvoretsky, and the puzzles in the book are extremely hard.  I get like 1/3 of them right on a good day and can spend about 10 min just calculating line after line.  I truly think that this has helped me get to the next level by calculating and calculating the right moves.  Anyway, I'm going to showcase my recent games.

In some of my other games, I thought I was getting lucky because my opponents blundered, but my coach said, when you put pressure on someone, it will make you feel like you are lucky because they just mess up when they are in a tough situation.
Here are some ridiculous tactics that came from positions in my games,  They get progressively harder.
My rating from 3 tournaments should go from 2063 --->
2183!!!
I'm getting really close to becoming a master.  In the last 2 tournaments, the only games that I didn't win were against 2500+, I also had 4 upsets in the last 2 tournaments.  Both tournaments, I had performances of 2400+.
I'm almost there...
Thanks for reading!
