A Breakthrough in Center
The breakthrough in a chess game is a very important issue with many different shapes (of appearance). So please look at this center formation:
It is one which can happen for example in a Semi-Tarrasch opening. It is a dynamical center position. White has in center a 2:1 pawn majority and cause of the missing black c-pawn he can create a passed pawn in center. This one can become very dangerous as we can see in the following part of a game!
Black has an impressive pawn majority of 3:0 at queenside but is back "dangerously" in piece development. And do not forget the dynamical center formation. White started to use it immediately, The pawn broke through to d7!
So I hope you will keep this in mind and start a breakthrough in center, if possible, in one of your next 20 games :-)
