Techniques of Positional Play: Technique No. 3
From the book of the same name, these are puzzle-formatted games made with the purpose of helping me to replay through positions "Guess-the-move" style. This is the first game in the chapter, and I will add more as I go through further sections and eventually the whole book.
Feel free to check back for the rest of the games in this and other sections of the book.
Lastly, if you like these games, please buy the book or rent it from the Kindle library.
Techniques of Positonal Play
Technique No. 3: Restricting the bishop
I. The pawn barrier Pawn f3/e4 or f6/e5
This technique is on the threshold between restricting the bishop and the knight: the pawn duo Pawn f3/e4 can not only tame the queen's bishop (e.g. on b7), but it can also frequently tame a knight (e.g. on f6 or b6).
