NM Memorial Tournament

Well, the results came in from the Chess Tournament this past weekend. I just now got an e-mail confirming my prize and requesting a confirmation of my mailing address.

I played in the weakest section (Robert Zing, for people U/1400). Due to all of the ties, it was pretty evident that another round was needed to help clarify matters. However, I did end up winning some prize money. Granted, the $25 I won is less than I spent on the weekend, but it is still pretty nice. The prize was for being tied for 3rd place in the Robert Zing section, plus a prize for being tied for the top U/1200 (my pre-tournament rating was 1185).

 At some point over the next couple of days, I'll go ahead and analyze/post my games from the weekend.
