How to play positional chess better ?

You can play positional chess better by seeing games of players like Karpov who is also said to be  one of the best positional chess players. He was a world champion from 1975 to 1985. Lets not get more into it and focus on our topic.

So I am now going to show you guys a wonderful  position in a  game played by Anatoly Karpov so lets go.

It is played to not exchange the rooks as if he would exchange then the file would be of black not white.
