1. Sometimes I’m playing a game of chess on my phone wondering about my phones capabilities.

2.

1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G are generations of wireless broadband technology that define the standards for telephone networks. The "G" stands for "generation". Each generation has different capabilities and speeds, and they have evolved over time to provide faster and more reliable connectivity:
  • 1G: The first generation of mobile telephony, which appeared in 1980 and only allowed voice calls over short distances.
  • 2G: The second generation, which appeared in 1991 and allowed voice calls and SMS.
  • 3G: The generation that brought mobile internet to people wirelessly.
  • 4G: The generation that offered faster speeds and feature improvements.
  • 5G: The latest generation, which is designed to provide more connectivity, high speeds, low latency, and superior reliability. 5G is expected to have a major impact on many industries, including transportation, healthcare, agriculture, and logistics.
