Chess ADJUSTMENT

1. In chess when you want to center your pieces in a tournament, you say ADJUST and there you have an ADJUSTMENT to the CENTER.

2. If a TRIQUARTER was BEAMED at a chess piece, well that would be total MANIPULATION.

3. I wonder what the ADJUSTMENT BUREAU would do?
