Henceforth, you shall remain nameless! (My experience with automod)

I'm making a new rule for myself. I am never again addressing anyone by their username! You will be dude or guy only from now on.  I was in a game and do what I always do. I said "Good game (username)." Then I got the box that said "you have been warned..."  It surprised me for a sec.  I didn't think about it and said again "Good game (username)." Then I got the message saying that I was muted for 30 min. I almost had a heart attack. I was totally surprised. You guys know that I am that girl in class who always tries to do the right thing (even reminds the teacher about homework).  I was about to log off when someone told me that the word that the username is is a swear word!!!!

Since this is an international site, I just thought it was a foreign first name (I've actually seen it before as a first name).

In hindsight it's pretty funny but now that I know, that's one word that shall be erased from my vocabulary.  Thank goodness I didn't have a webcam enabled. Seeing my face when I got warned and muted were priceless but seeing my face after realizing that the word was a swear word was sooo worth a million bucks.

So for those of you that get irked for being accidentally warned or muted, know that it might have been the automod and not a real life flesh and blood mod.  Also, don't be like me and have a coronary over the smallest thing. Press on and go back 30 minutes later, wiser to whatever it is that you may have (or accidentally done).  And above all, don't take yourself so seriously.  Laugh every once in a while.  I know I did.
