No problem with losing your streak btw, because it's called a streak, because that's how many days you can be active in a row. If you can't be active, then there is never a problem with starting fresh and losing your streak! (:
You can use something called "conditional moves" in your daily game where before you go you can figure out what you will play ahead of time according to an opponent's move. But the better question is, what are you doing not spending 1 minute online to keep your streak when you care about it so much? Maybe you can do this when you are in bed at night about to sleep or first thing in the morning. It' impossible to not have 1 free minute out of 1440, or then it would be okay to lose your streak.
I think if your not active it's only fair you lose your streak as a result. If you have 10 minutes and want your streak to stay active, then spend 1 minute to respond to your daily game.
The whole point of the streak is that you're active on CC. CC has many facets, so it's only natural and appropriate that there should be many ways to keep your streak. If you have so little time that you can't even play your move in a Daily game and must turn on VT as a result, it only makes sense that your streak be protected meanwhile.
Two days Ago, I started a rapid game, and after 4 moves, My opponent's clock was running down and the move didn't get to my side.By the time I had refreshed the page, I was disconnected. I
Feedback: Vote Chess. If one moves, one cannot also Resign. If one Resigns, one cannot also vote for a move. That's messed up. One should be able to vote for a move AND resign.
The point I'm trying to get at is the Big IT folks - particularly Alphabet companies - are showing signs of data throttling to get lay users to buy in to more services or upgrading equipment. It may also be affecting Apps and Browsers of chess.com users.
This may have nothing to do with what you're seeing @Chief_of_D, but recently YouTube has been purposely throttling data streams. To the point, I often see fuzzy video. I cannot click "Skip" to Ads---purposely done by the YouTube page. YouTube is making being a non-subscriber as brutal as possible. Similar issues are happening with my Android phone; certain Apps are behaving awkwardly. It appears to be the Android OS slowing them down. That is probably Google, but it could be Verizon.
