Woo Hoo! Congratulations to our OSG up and comers for winning the “OSG Up and Comers Under 1000 Match” against the “Team Scotland” club by a score of 4.5 to 3.5. Thanks @hesamali, @hddcm, @Ghake and @little_dragon for the the team win. @little_dragon too bad you lost both games on timeouts. Remember you are part of a team and club effort in these matches so we are counting on everyone to play their games out as best they can :). Nicely done guys, so far you are showing up the rest of us
Congratulations to DanTheBeaver for his first place finish, cheeseplease for his second place finish and to FOX-MULDER and coffeechess40 for their tie for third place in the recently concluded "Study group's unrated Sicilian Dragon opening tournament"Study group's unrated Sicilian Dragon opening tournament our "Study group's unrated Sicilian Dragon opening tournament"
@FOX-MULDER thanks. Re: New Tournaments "...my initial thoughts are to spin up new tournaments as we are closing out a few of the old/crowning champions." We have two that are in their final round. We'll start up another as soon as the first completes. :).
As you all can see we have quite a few ongoing internal matches ( some of which are almost over and at least two of which are in their final championship round ). We are due to start another few tournaments but my initial thoughts are to spin up new tournaments as we are closing out a few of the old/crowning champions. I am sure that I am missing a few tournaments that were started by the esteemed admin TheSultan31003 :)
I hear you FOX-MULDER. @All as you can see I've made some tweaks to our internal club header to show the current club "Open/Active" match activity. I think it is great idea for all members to see at a glance all of the active club match activity so all know that we are active club and everyone can peek in and/or join in to matches where possible.
Our "OSG Up and Comers Under 1000-1200 Match" against Team Scotland is under way. Good luck to our OSG team. Go get em! More to come....watch this space :)
