Today I would like to present you guys about the weak squares and strong squares. So I hope you all will like it too.I will also post a video on it on youtube with annotated games tomorrow .I will make playlist of five games which will cover all the rules which arise with this concepts. Weak squares- Weak squares are those which can not be defended by any pawn. This is the basic defination of a weak square . for ex- In the above position b5 square is a weak square How to exploit these squares- 1. Your main task in these sort of situation is to turn the opponent's weak square into your's own strong point by seizing it with one of your pieces. The most important squares are those located on that side of the board where the main action is taking place .Furthermore special attention should always be paid to weak squares in the centre of the board and near the king.Knights and bishops are the best pieces for seizing these squares, though other pieces can fulfil this task to. 2.The capture of a weak square has to be carefully prepared. Before seizing it,you should always try to control it with more than a piece. If you can not avoid changing on your pieces on that square ,see to it that after this exchange it can be substituted by another piece or pawn . 3.Weak square are often appears in front of backward isolated pawns. In that case the capture of this point also helps in the struggle against such pawns,as the occupying piece is at the same time blockading the pawn . 4.The seizure of a weak square always means a certain positional advantage .The occupying piece constrains the opponent's troops. Bescides weak squares allows your pieces to penetrate into the enemy rear. Our knight is aiming towards the weak d5-f6 squares. Our rook is aiming towards Rb5-f5-f7+ and we have b5- d5 and f5 are so weak . If the opponent's positions contains several weak squares of the same colour, try to attack them by bishop and queen,as this will increase the strength of these diagonals pieces considerably. If there are such weaknesses in your position, bishop ( of the same colour as the squares in question) and queen can help to prevent the opponent from occupying them . Attacking a weak points. Usually in chess literature the two concepts 'square' and 'point' are used as synonyms. However there is an essential difference between them ,which becomes a especially noticeable when we speak about playing methods. A 'square' is an empty spot on the chess board which can be occupied by any piece ,whereas a 'point' is a square on which there already is located a piece or a pawn . Based on the above concept, "the weak point' is a spot on which there is a piece or pawn which is under attack of the opponent's forces. Thus a point is consider to be only weak if there is a potential opportunity to attack it. Whereas the main task when fighting a weak square is to seize it by one of your pieces and transform it into a strong point, the struggle against a weak point looks a bit different .At first you need to attack the points with your pieces as many times as possible before finally capturing the piece which is standing there. For ex. now look at this position we have a clear weakness on d7 and we already occupied the weak square on d6 because as we know that the square in front of the backward pawn is always weak .so here d6 is weak so black is in deep trouble.White attacks his pawn with three pieces.,and although he can not gain it ,he compels the opponent to defend it having to place his pieces passively . Defense of a weak point- 1. Protect that square or point with your pieces. 2. Exchange the opponent's pieces which can occupy that square or attack that point. white's last move was Bc4 exchanging the attacker of the weak white kingside's colour complex. 3.Decrease the importance of the weak square (point) by initiating a play on the other side of the board . White totally trying to crush the pawn on b7 and on the other hand black is making a counterplan with h4-g4 in the kingside attack . This is all what I know about the weak squares and if anyone interested in telling me more then text me but i think its already enough knowledge for any player of below 2200 .I will also post my youtube playlist tomorrow with 5 games collection . Thanks eveyone who subscribed my channel and special thanks to my best friend who motivated me a lot and i make every work for her now.God bless her.

I think it's right to tell you the proper way to study chess books. Frankly telling you guys I made this method by my own knowledge but it was the right method according to Avetik GM Grigoryan. I thought the same like he shared in one of his lessons about how to read chess books. Some myths about study: 1. We can learn after we see the move and the game continuation. This is wrong. 2. Playing will improve your chess. 3. It's good to analyze only losing games. That's all I normally see. Experienced players can add more if they know. The right method : If you want to learn from a strategical book then instead of looking at the analysis from the book , first of all try to find that game from internet or in your chessbase mega database. After you will find that game then delete all the commentary and then put the notation in the training mode and then analyse the game. This method is really effective. I got a rating of 2100 in blitz on chess.com in just 10 days from 1700 rating after I applied this concept in my own training session. My coach Ram Prakash also suggested me this same method. If you need to see the video in which GM is practically showing this method then check here and you can follow him too. Please share this if you like this post and also help those who can not afford coaches and who are eager to learn chess. I wish you all good luck . From a lot of time I thought to share about how to we build up an attack. So today I decided to write about it. This is benaficial for those who are amature or maybe below 1600 players and sometimes for club players too. So please read it and if you like the content then completly and try to share it more and more so other will also take benafits of our small lessons. Here I am going to write down the rules and soon I will make video lessons on it.1. Bring your heavy pieces into game. So, you may ask that how do we get the heavy pieces in and what are the right conditions for getting them around the enemy king?(1) As you guys know that our first opening principle is to control the center so in the same way in order to build up a successful attack first of all try to control the center and grab it. This will give your pieces space and mobility to move.(2) Try to exchage attacking pieces of your opponent so the rest of his pieces will become passive and then you can use your own pieces to generate an attack.(3) In order to build up an attack you need pieces for it so try to keep more and more pieces on the board.(4) Sometimes when your rook is on the open or semi-open file then you can shift it to the third rank in order to attack the opponent's kingside. So whenever possible play the rook lift ideas.(5) Strong center stop the opponent's play.(6) If you succeds in getting strong center then you can build up a successful attack behind the pawns.2. Sometimes when you have a nice pawn formation in which your pawn is on the e5 square. For example you can easily get pawn on e5 in the french defense advance variation ( e4 e6 d4 d5 e5!). Here are some advantage of such pawn.(1) It can drive the knight away from the f6 square so that the black's kingside will lose one defender of the h7 square and then you can try to target it.(2) Pawn advance e5 opens up the long diagonal b1-h7 so may be greek gift will be possible and white can also use the e4 square in some positions in order to shift the queenside knight for attack in the black kingside.(3) Rook lifts ideas are also possible in these e5 structures.(4) Keep that in mind that with the pawn e5 white hopes for kingside initiative and with the pawn on d5 white normally hopes for the queenside initiative but yeah chess is full of exeption because rules can be breakable.3. In order to build up an attack you must active your queen so she can join the battle of attack too.4. With the help of queen and heavy pieces you can try to provoke some weakness in your opponent's camp. That's all the basic knowledge by which you can build up an attack. Soon I am going to post about what happen after we fully build up an attack. How to finish the game finally.
