Some odd things happening with VC in beta. "You voted for" is in an odd place, and there isn't a value assigned to time remaining before the vote tally.

I assume IE 6 isn't being offically supported anymore, would that be a correct assumption? Because, if not, the site redesign doesn't work very well on it.

Please be relevant, helpful & nice! It looks like the drop-down box below the "submit" button allowing for a player to stay on current game/go to next game is gone. I found this an incredibly useful tool since I usually want to go to the next game, and if I wanted to use a conditional move, then I wouldn't need to go to the next game or find the game in my homepage. Can you bring it back? Also, it looks like if I advance a page and then return while in the midst of a comment (say, start a comment and then click on my username and then Alt+Left back to the comment), the disappearing text issue is gone, but now I type in gray italics :) The real point of this is that the "Please be relevant, helpful, and nice" comment does not disappear on clicking in the text box.

Numbered lists are messed up in existing posts in Aurora 10.0a2 (Firefox 10 alpha). Example from http://www.chess.com/groups/forumview/minor-tactics-trainer-bug I will test with different browsers shortly and test posting a new numbered list and see what I get.
Didn't test too thoroughly, but after pasting content into a private message (to send to another member), if you clicked back in the message text area, the entire message would erase itself. Maybe someone can confirm this one. Firefox 8.0

The secure login link doesn't appear on the main page (the link to http://www.chess.com/login.html). Or I didn't see it. Tested on Firefox 9.0.1, and Aurora 10.0a2. Not a huge deal but I know that is how I prefer to logon and I'm sure other do the same. Also, the login page doesn't have the new design.
Here's one for the programmers (as I've been picking holes with the design) so they don't feel left out.. Is there any reason why the Google analytics, Meebo, Quantserve & several other small blocks of javascripts cannot be moved from inside the page HTML to external .js files where they can be cached by the users browser? (same applies to the feeback form/ tab if that is become a permanant feature) I know it's only a small reduction in the page size but given the high volume of traffic such changes should result in some savings of the daily outgoing bandwidth consumption from the webserver(s).

Everything gets "squished" when previewing a comment. Sample screenshot:

Part of the comment frame gets chopped off in a tactic. Very frustrating if you want to get notifications on a tactic!

Good web design practice is to resize images prior to inclusion in the page and NOT tweek the CSS file or inline style to make them fit the desired layout. This is a small gripe as the images are hopefully being cached at the users browser but it still hinders the page loading speed while it resizes the image(s) on the fly. Here's an example http://files.chesscomfiles.com/images_trophies/397-548.png128px × 128px (scaled to 40px × 40px on the page) == 5.77 kB (5,905 bytes)as a resized gif == 1.56kB OR resized png == 2.12kB
http://www.chess.com/tournaments/ http://betaimages.chesscomfiles.com/images/tournpair.gif (see screenshot) is unreadable and conveys no information to the viewer. Suggest a close up & cropped image may do better. The 'tournament legend' area looks a little inconsistant with the sections above that are boxed and bordered but that's an artisitic gripe lol!
Well, let me format my feedback in an organized fashion. 1. Basic Feedback: If you notice, the "name" letters [such as CalbaMan] seem a little too large, for my liking at least. In my opinion, the size of these letters can be reduced to a smaller size? 2. Alert Box? Also, my messages no longer show in that handy alert box under the "My Home" button... Although this may prove to be very helpful to some people who are annoyed of constantly receiving team alerts, I loved this feature. Maybe Chess.com should allow an option for this alert box to be shown or not? 3. Trophies! Although trophies never actually helped me play chess or manage teams, they are very fun to receive. I was scrolling down to the bottom of my page, and I found a VERY tiny box at the near bottom of my profile page, displaying my trophies. Suggestions? 4. Handy-Dandy Notes: Notes are a very important part of my life here on chess.com. It is one of the easiest ways to contact me, in my opinion. These notes, however, have grown impossibly large. Is there any way for these to be reduced? 5. New Comments! My new comments button used to be in a convenient spot - right below my alerts and messages. However, this button moved nearly all the way to the bottom! Can this be moved back up again, possibly? That's my feedback for now. I hope this was helpful! ~ CalbaMan
http://www.chess.com/echess/stats/mottsauce The spacing with regards to e-chess average opponent stats is inconsistent. A minor issue.

http://www.chess.com/home/echess_settings.html Just something small and aesthetic...a few nbsp's would be nice here! Between "GAMES!" and "I'm", and after "games played so far".

I'm using Chrome 11 and Firefox 8. When using the Computer Workout, the chess board and the problem detail panes are not visually synchronized.Sample:

When I mouse-over my friends in my "friends list", I get the broken image icon in the popup, despite the fact that there are avatars for the member. Oh, and the thing where you click in the text box and everything disappears is slightly annoying ;)looks good in general though. I'm going to go through and see when else I can find...
