1. Check the forum topic named Negotiation+Results forum and find your opponent if you have signed up for a quad. 2. On the forum, address your opponent and give the time range that you can play with a time zone. For example: Hello [opponent] I can play everyday play 3pm to 10pm EST every day. 3. Assuming your opponent responds the same way, find a time that matches between both opponents and set the time to play. 4. Once it is time to play, write a comment on the forum saying you are ready to play. 5. If no time can be decided on but both players have clearly made an attempt to negotiate, then at the end of the round, both players will receive a 1/2 bye. 6. If one player doesn't show up on the agreed time and the game can not be finished in the time frame of the round, the person who no-showed will usually be forfeited. If one person obviously made an attempt to negotiate while another made no attempt, the person who made an attempt will usually be granted a forfeit victory

This month, we will be having our fifth quad tourney of 2025. Instead of a tournament where many won't be able to make it, we will be hosting a 15|10 quad. There will be 3 quad sections, 1800-2200 rapid rating, 1400-1800 rapid rating, and 1000-1400 rapid rating (peak rating will be used to sort quads). The quads will be a 4 player round-robin, so there will be 3 rounds split across the remainder of November. The winner who comes out on top of their respective quad will win a prize. The prize for each winner of their respective quad will be a 1 month Diamond Membership. If the winner already has a membership, they can choose to gift it to another member. Schedule + Details  (Players will be expected to schedule a match in the listed time frames below for their rounds with their opponent on a forum soon to be made. Failure from one side to negotiate will result in a forfeit victory for the opponent. If both players negotiate but simply can not come to a date and time, a draw will be given. Colors will be given out once signups are finalized. Finished games will also be posted on an additional thread). Negotiation MUST occur in the thread to ensure no mistakes. Extensions will only be accepted in certain instances.
