Hi Club!
Here's a game I just played with the French. After analyzing the game, I'm pretty sure the biggest reason I won was white's unwillingness to exchange queens. My strategy was to go up a pawn or two and grind out a win in a queenless endgame. It worked, but much quicker than expected.
What will I take away from this game? Have a plan! I had one, stuck with it, and it led to good things. Also, it helped that my opponent was really aggressive, and didn't understand the positions that well.
