However Courier Chess has the weaknesses of irregularities in the opening setup and Pawn promotion only to the second-least valuable piece. So now the pawns are all at the third rank there are a second Mann and Wildebeest in place of the Wazir and Alfils. The Ferz is also upgraded to a General.

I proved that correct by making Tinyhouse, which is a smaller version of Minihouse. However, this is Tineants Checkers, which is a smaller version of Sergeants Checkers. Unlike regular sergeants checkers, you can compete for a stalemate, but good luck! I was actually suprised that Golden Gates got declined, cause I found a lot of strategies and I wrote a long description that took 30 minutes to make.

Is it correct that mainly, players criticize Duck Chess for the “blocker” function of the duck? What should a “duck in reverse” which is not a “blocker”, at least for pieces moving to its square, and upgrades the pieces be called? Here is a table for this “duck in reverse” changes the pieces on a or h file on b or g file on c or f file on d or e file Pawn WcfF NmfWcfF FmfW Commoner Knight NW Wildebeest NF General Bishop Dragon Horse Archbishop BA BAW Rook RD Chancellor Dragon King RDF Queen QD Amazon QA QAD King* R2F General B2W Q2 Is this a good variant? My friend created this variant, and I've played it a few times, but he's not in this club so I'm sharing it instead. This game is similar to duck chess: it's normal chess, but each turn you can tell your opponent a move s/he cannot play. On move one, black could tell white not to play d4. This can lead to some sharp gameplay, as a game could go 1. e4 Nc6 2. Qh5 e5 3. Qxf7, at which point white could tell black he is not allowed to play Kxf7, and the game would end. Like duck chess, I think that this variant should not just be made as a variant but also a game rule. Obviously it wouldn't work with, say, fog of war, but it could be adapted for 4PC as well as other variants such as Atomic and Antichess. So I am asking for input. Is this a good variant/gamerule? Could it be added? Let me know!

The duck of Duck Chess has the major problem that apart from it being an unrestricted veto over the opponent‘s next move from that position, nobody likes having extraordinary illegal moves. Since both players just playing this piece where the opponent can’t move anyway defeats the point of its existence, I suggest a variant where it works in reverse, not blocking the square where it stands and permitting for the opponent‘s next move, moves which the pieces cannot normally make according to the file where it stands: a and h files: Pawn -> WfcF Knight -> NW Bishop -> Dragon Horse Rook -> RD Queen -> QD King -> R2F, royal b and g files: Pawn -> NmfWcfF Knight -> Wildebeest Bishop -> Archbishop Rook -> Chancellor Queen -> Amazon King -> Royal General c and f files: Pawn -> FmfW Knight -> NF Bishop -> BA Rook -> Dragon King Queen -> QA King -> B2W, royal d file: Pawn -> Commoner Knight -> General Bishop -> BAW Rook -> RDF Queen -> QAD King -> Q2, royal e file same as d file but anything is royal Is this a good variant?
