Well for all in the northern half of our fine world, Summer is about to turn to Autumn. That is extra good. And for those living way down south of the equator, Springtime is near - also very groovy! So are you and outdoors person? Chances are that I have been an outdoors person longer than you! I love Autumn - fall colors and American football and mild temperatures. God is taking care of us all!   So tell me - are you an outdoors person? What are your favorite outdoor activities?

I post this for anyone (especially those not in North America) who wants to know about me and my quiet life in Alabama. Every morning I take a casual walk in my yard to see what is going on in regards to my flowers and grass and trees and birds and whatever else I can see. So here are some thoughts from today: Hot again. Back to mid July temperatures - high expected for today is 97 ( 36 C). Also returning to dry. Those small showers from three days ago have disappeared. Grass will need to be mowed in the next 4 or 5 days. Flowers doing so-so. I need to divide the Coreopsis in that pot. That is the pot that spent last winter in my garage, so if I divide them flowers now it will mean two more pots in the garage this coming winter. But I need about two more flowers in posts to fill in since I have a new wooden wheelbarrow display/decor piece in the yard.  I should post a few pictures.  https://www.almanac.com/plant/coreopsis   And I still need to divide one of the Coneflowers in front of the porch.
