Rules to Playing this Position:
==============================================================================
Game Plan for White:
The following rules come from studying Judit Polgar games, a leading expert in this position.
First we play 8.Bd3.
Then we look to develop our King's Knight but we may have to wait.
If black castles king-side:
- with our Bishop on d3, we look to play Qh5;
- with our Bishop on e2, we look to play h4.
If Black play f5, we play the en passant move.
If our d3-bishop gets kicked with c4,
- we look to exchange our bishop with a knight on g6, or
- we retreat the Bishop to e2, followed by playing h4.
Check Black's queen/rook with the dark squared bihop, whenever possible.
If Black plays h5 to kick our g4-Queen, we look to play Qxg7.
Develop our dark square bishop:
Be3 or Bd2 if the c3-pawn is under attack
If Black attacks our center stronghold with f6, we add more support with f5.
Putting these rules to practice, this is how we play this position.
