Hey guys, I just played this blitz game and I was wondering if I could have been more efficent with this attack. If you want some practice analysing attacking position this would be a good one.

Hello Team 54: Sorry it has took so long for these puzzles to come out. I put a group of puzzles together twice; and both times they would not post to our forum. It was highly frustrating. However, if you are reading this then it finally was successful and there are new puzzles for you guys to solve. The last few puzzles were on opening and closing of lines. So it only seem natural to look into the diagonals. This week will be on opening of diagonals and next week will be on interception of diagonals. Anyway I hope you enjoy them because it has been very difficult bringing them to you. Like always open up the move list if they get too complicated. Good Luck!!!
Had a very interesting situation in this match and then towards the end it became very one sided :-)

Hey Team 54. I just wound up with a fun tactical position in one of our Marshall attack games. These last 5 moves were all premoves. See if you can find the checkmate in 5. It might not be exactly forced but it was close !
Hello Team 54: This week we are going to look at puzzles on the Big Diagonal. I know that we have been spending a lot of time on the diagonals but I think these puzzles will be beneficial to all. I also put up 15 problems because there are some key ideas that we all can learn from. Next week we will work on the bishop pair and then we will be done with diagonals altogehter. Hopefully by then you will be able to look at bishops and diagonals a little bit differently. So good luck and like always; open up the move list if there are questions about a puzzle.
Here are a few puzzles that I though we could all learn from. I think they are a little hard to figure out, but they were fun (at least for me) to figure out. I hope you all enjoy.
Hello Team 54: This week we are going to talk about deflection. Using deflection properly can win material and possibly teh game. So enjoy the puzzles and good luck.

Many people have seen "Searching for Bobby Fischer", but most have not seen the ending sequence where black wins in 12 moves. I figured I'd put it up for those who seen the movie but never got a chance to see the Puzzle. If you have not seen the movie it is never too late!! In real life that game that took place was actually a draw, but this is still a great puzzle to learn from.

Here are some puzzles on discovery checks. You may have to think outside the box a little bit. Some are farily easy while others are a little bit more difficult. Here is the only hint that I will give you. Sometimes you have to force a discovery. All of them are not in plain sight. Good Luck and as always feel free to give me you fedback.

We are back for the next set and this is one of my favorites. The double check is the only kind of check where the king has no option and has to move. This allows for beautiful combinations and allows the player to put their pieces in the most optimal positions. After you complete puzzles 4,7, and 8 you should open up the move list box so you can see the alternatives. Its a little confusing but you can see why white chose one square over the other. Have fun!

Hello Team 54: It is that time again for some more tactical puzzles to get you thinking! This weeks theme is on double attacks. Try your best and see what you can find. Also, often the puzzles will not end in checkmate. It could just be that one side can gain an advantage. Just a litte tip so that you dont go crazy trying to figure them out. I hope you enjoy. Good Luck!! P.S. I added a few more puzzles as well.

Hello Team 54, We are back for another set of puzzles. Since we looked at opening of lines last week I wanted to focus on closing of lines this week. The goal of this weeks puzzles is to show you how to gain a clear advantage by closing of files or ranks. I hope you enjoy these puzzles and remember you can open up the move list if the get to complicated. Good Luck!
