The title says it all

Sadly I to all I have to write this but I feel it's necessary. I want people to keep an eye out for cheaters. I found out how to cheat 2 months ago on my smurf account. I played 4 games just to get the feel of how someone would play as a cheater, as I had suspicions. It was super easy and after I sent an email to chess.com telling them what I did and how I did it. Of course all 4 games were super easy because I could see the whole board. I never got caught, and I'm not sure they fixed it; I just want people to keep an eye out. Of course if someone beats you it doesn't mean they're cheating, skills do exist, but if it seems like your opponent can see everything share the games please. I want to route out these cheaters and make fow still a great variant of chess. I'd say It's the unalienable right of every fow player to at least have some of your moves be a complete mystery to the person you're playing at all times! lol

I just played a game where I was a bit confused. It seems I had the opportunity to play en passant but the indication for this was only that the square that my pawn could move to capture went from dark to empty. It would have been much clearer if I had been able to see the pawn too.If I had another piece watching the en passant square I would not have any indication that I could play en passant at all. That seems to be a bug. Normally you can see all the pieces that you can capture.

Can you share tactics, strategies and openings for Fog Of War? I’m really bad at FOW

Just abort if you don't feel comfortable playing , you won't lose any rating. gl hf

There is the main FOW rating and the "57%" FOW rating. Does the main rating mix in some other irrelevant gametype ratings (Blitz, 2 player variants) and if so, why?

Currently, someone can cheat by having a friend watch the game and tell them where the pieces are. This could be prevented with a setting to remove the current game from the "spectate" section.

Qxd5! to go into an endgame up a piece. Unfortunately i had no idea how to convert and agreed to a draw 35 moves later.

An actual good opening ( no offense goldewriter ). Im now 1700 in 35 games using it almost exclusively. I will usually follow with d3 and break with e4, and many times kh1 and f4. I do the same in reverse when im black. The main idea in the opening is to sidestep all tricks and play defensive while waiting for blunders from the opponent. Nh3 guards any funny stuff on f2 and leaves the bishops diagonal open for vision. Feel free to use it and post here how it went
