Hello! This is the new thread where we can discuss any decisions and rule changes regarding the game. I want the original thread to be more disclosed rather than in the public Chess960 and other Variants section (people could be confused entirely by the thread). The point any rule changes are made they will be announced on the main thread.

Come here to download and get started working my graphical user interface I created to help view and mod games of chess on an infinite plane (it is also usable to mod many other variants)! Panning & zooming is a cinch. Place a huge variety of pieces, dye them different colors! Highlight squares on this infinite canvas. This makes it a lot easier to moderate quite exotic & complex games like NEISG by me or FISG #1 by @JamesAgadir! I created this from scratch in the java programming language, I'm offering a free copy to anyone reading this! I just ask you let me know your thoughts Here's what you will need- A computer capable of running java applications, can be windows or mac. You need Java installed. If you don't, here's a good tutorial on how to install Java JDK on windows 10. Download the latest version of the program from google drive here (includes both windows and mac versions). Right-click the downloaded zip folder, click Extract All and extract to a destination of your choice. Then read the "Read Me" file, it will tell you to run it once by double clicking the .jar file corresponding to your current operating system, wait a few seconds while it creates the required directories (it will appear as if it opens and instantly closes), then you will need to drag the "Photos" folder to this location: "C:\chess folder\Infinite Chess\" for windows users or "/Users/username/Desktop/Infinite Chess/" for mac users, the program should have already created the folders "Games" and "Screen Captures" in that location. After that it should start up normally! Let me know if you have trouble installing and I can assist. Need help? Ask! Take cool shots? Post theme here! Find any bugs? Post them here. Want to request features? Ask here! You can customize the texture pack by replacing the images in the "Photos" folder. They must have the exact same name, have a transparent background, and their resolution must be perfectly square and a power of 2 (i.e. 128x128, 256x256, 512x512...). The current limit of this program (i.e. the limit you could teleport to AND everything is still functional) is currently unknown, you can go so far that the coordinates will fill up the entire screen and go off it. The limit for zooming out is once you reach the number 1x10^131, when the y coordinates on the left hand side will begin to overlap right before the program crashes. I have already patched this and on the next release there will be no zoom limit! Link to original program forum.
This thread is dedicated solely for making your move submissions! Please do not chat on this thread for I will delete your cluttery comments. And if have to warn you several times you're chatting too much I'll have to punish you (in the form of lost health). You should only post your move submission for the latest board update on this thread. If you want to change your move, try not repost, just click edit next to your move submission and edit it that way. I want all move submissions to be located in one place so I won't have to search through so many pages. This saves me time in the long run, seeing as game board updates take long enough as they are. Format for submitting moves: First, include the letter representing the kind of piece your selecting (the list of all pieces and their corresponding letters can be found here <link is yet to be created>). Next, contain in parenthesis the x and y coordinates you'd like to move the piece to, separated by a comma , Example: N(37,3) this will move your knight to the coordinate (37,3) (if you have a knight that can move there). If you have multiple knights that can move to the square you must also specify what coordinate the knight starts on- N(35,2)-(37,3) where the 1st coordinate is the beginning square, and the 2nd coordinate is the landing square. If you'd like to expend health to generate a new piece on the board, you must also include a plus + sign before the letter representing the kind of piece you're generating. Example: +Tt(-384,-12) will subtract 12 health and generate a new time thief on the coordinate (-384,-12). If your move is submitted anywhere else but here, I will NOT accept it! If you're pm'ing me your move you still MUST submit here that you've "pm'd move" or I will NOT accept it! You HAVE include with your move the coordinates you're moving the piece to. I will NOT accept moves like this: "push pawn" or "NxG". Any typo you make can render your entire move ILLEGAL! So always double check when you're submitting your moves that you have the numbers correct so you don't waste your move. If your typo turns out to be legal then you will make a move you didn't mean to.
Possible event: Flags Each player PMs a current piece as a flag, and if the flag is captured both A. Double the points of the pieces usual value B. The player loses
Earlier this month when I was playing the Never Ending Infinite Game, I came up with the idea of spells, most of the spells I came up with can currently only be feasibly used in Never Ending Infinite, but anyhow here they are: Freeze Potion: Cost=10, Ability: Freeze all pieces in a 2x2 square for 1 move, can only be placed in a 5 block radius around a friendly piece, only affects enemy pieces Wall: Cost=6, Creates a temporary wall that is 5 squares long it lasts 5 turns and must be placed directly around a piece, only one wall can be placed at a time (a wall can be made transparent and can be leapt and flown over. Transparency Potion: Cost=5, can be thrown in a ten block radius around a friendly piece, affects a 3x3 square and can be used on walls, last for 2 moves. Leaping Elixer: Cost=5, can be thrown on friendly pieces giving them the ability to move the way they move but also leap over pieces and the move like a knight at the same time, last for 3 turns. (I need better rules for this) Undead Army Summoner Cost=15, summons a band of guards and knight in a 6x6 radius around friendly pieces. the summoned pieces last only for 2 turns, and one of them can simultaneously be moved with your own pieces. If they are touching other pieces then their position may change. (need lots of help with this one) The "Cost" is cost or health in infinite never-ending. I know I have reposted this for like the third time but I really want people to see this and tell me their opinion, also these ideas need to be changed a lot and I wrote it just to get the idea out there. If you disagree with my idea please mention why it is bad and possibly come up with a solution or improvement.
