Hello everyone, You may have already realized that TPP has been on a streak of inactivity for quite some time now. Part of this reason is based on my decision to take a break or "partially quitting" this site for the foreseeable future. The truth is, chess.com has slowly but surely become an addiction, eating up substantial amounts of time every day. So here I am, trying to break that addiction. School and other factors influenced my decision to take a temporary, if not lengthy, break. I may or may not decide to come back later, but until my life is sorted out and I am confident about returning, chances are I won't be online. I will deeply miss all the friendships I have made through my social life here on chess.com. I wish everyone the best on their chess journeys, and I hope to be back soon. Stay safe, and have fun! - Duck

Will the black king find refuge behind his pawns that are one square away from promotion? Or will he eventually succumb the the dynamic duo of the a rook and a bishop? You decide.

So I promised you guys that I would post a slightly more difficult puzzle than yesterdays one. This puzzle was actually taken from Jacob Aagaard's book, "Grandmaster Preparation - Positional Play" which I have found to be a very captivating book so far, with a transformed intuition and a better sense of positional awareness. The objective of this exercise is the find the best continuation for black. A fair warning, however, this puzzle may not suit all levels. When solving the puzzle, look for any weaknesses that are present in the position. Look at your pieces. What pieces are badly placed? How can you make them better? Finally, what is your opponent's idea? Good luck solving!

do you like the idea that I make a quiz of 5 questions every week (which you don't have to look up, to make it more fun) and that I calculate the results and announce the winner every month? I hope you will like it! ( you have 3 days to awnser ) if you have a idee about I should make the questions say it than! here are the first 5 questions: 1) How old is Magnus Carlsen? 2) What year did bobby fischer die? 3) What person invented chess, I need a name?!tip) it's definitely not my name) 4) How much money do Magnus Carlsen have? ( tip: its a number between 1 and 10 ) 5) Where did Hikaru Nakamure born? fun fact: There are over 318,000,000,000 different possible positions after four moves each. I hope you will enjoy this and that you won't cheat! have a good weekend!
@BananaPeelEater and @xxMeme_ReviewXx are cool 😎😎😎
