https://www.chess.com/game/live/20181597593 I used to tilt a lot in blitz and I never got higher than 1000. After I did, I started to get better and I put a lot of thought into moves. I shifted my focus from bullet (which decreased from 1600 to 1500) to blitz and rapid. This way, I can improve my understanding of "chess" from playing fast to playing quality games.

Abhimanyu Mishra broke the previous record and now holds the record for youngest GM in the world! This is an event to remember, congratulations to him.

What's the best chess opening for white or the best opening for black? Why? I like the Queen's Gambit for white and not only because it has the highest win rate but because of the solid positions that can be developed from the Queen's Gambit. Here's a good example of a Queen's Gambit declined game and game positions, this was a game I played with a 2000 rated player. https://www.chess.com/analysis/game/live/14650023051 As you can see, black lost due to a mistake and I punished black's mistake and eventually made them lose. This shows the toxicity of this opening, one small mistake and things can easily go downhill. Here's another game where I turned the tables against my opponent in another heated Queen's Gambit position. https://www.chess.com/game/live/16991529995 These games clearly show why I love the Queen's Gambit and why you should play it too! Stay tuned for more informative chess tip forums.

All you have to do is keep playing some positions and you'll get the hang of it.

30 sec is an easy way to earn rating in bullet, but some people don't have a good mouse or can't play that fast. Don't worry, there are many 2000+ rated players out there who focus on checkmating their opponent in 1 min games, this is easy because people normally make careless mistakes and you can easily win by playing fast during the last 30 seconds or when you have a queen or a rook.
