@I_AM_Sher_Locked  Maybe try clearing temp files from the browser or restarting your computer if it's been running for a while?  Also, you could try another browser to see if the problem is isolated to Chrome or perhaps your computer.

you're loading Basic HTML?

I did just load it with opera, it is working fine there.

@I_AM_Sher_Locked  Sounds like it might be a setting in Chrome that is interfering?  I would check to see if there are any updates for Chrome and if that doesn't solve the problem, I would uninstall/reinstall the browser.

I use Opera as my primary Internet browser.  And Firefox when I play 4 Person Team Chess because Opera doesn't allow me to draw arrows, which can make a team game quite challenging when you're trying to strategize with your opponent.

yeah, I just think maybe hardware acceleration on chrome is interfering with it, such a heavy piece of software this browser is. also, Opera has some custom shortcuts on itself which are interfering with drawing arrows on chess.com, such as dragging right with the right mouse button pressed should switch tabs. by disabling those shortcuts from the settings you can start drawing arrows.

just tried the hardware acceleration did not solve the problem

@I_AM_Sher_Locked  Can you please tell me more specifically where I can go to change settings in Opera to fix the drawing arrows dilemma in 4PC?  Maybe send a screenshot?  Opera has so many settings and options, gets kind of overwhelming sometimes.

What you said about "dragging right with the right mouse button pressed should" is exactly the problem I was having with Opera in 4 PC.  This is why I used Firefox.  I created a forum post about it a while ago (see link below).  @BabYagun said he would get a developer to look into it.  I think he said the main browsers chess.com supports are Chrome and Firefox.

yeah, the main browser support is for chrome and firefox on most sites happy.png. I don't remember where it exactly was as you said Opera has so many options, but I believe googling Opera mouse shortcuts will lead you to the correct settings.

@I_AM_Sher_Locked  Thanks for the suggestion.  I will try this and let you know if I am successful or not.

@I_AM_Sher_Locked  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!  WOW!!  VERY IMPRESSED!!  FIXED!! grin.png

I forgot Opera has a search box in the settings section to make it easier to find things.  I typed in mouse and I turned off the highlighted blue setting below.  Works fine now.

Not sure why that would be on by default.  Rather annoying I think.  If you have a few seconds check out the link below and see how much "Mumbo Jumbo" there is regarding that mouse gesture feature.

@I_AM_Sher_Locked  I will send a direct message to some of the support staff that I dealt with originally to let them know the issue was resolved.  I will be sure to mention this forum and that you helped me with the fix! happy.png

This is a huge relief for me because I use Opera as my primary browser for almost everything, except for banking because it does not support a sandbox feature I use through my antivirus software.

Also, since turning off that mouse feature, I've noticed a significant speed boost in the browser.  It's quite a bit faster to surf the Internet now.
