Don't forget the "There's a notification badge but no notifications!!!!"
Relating to this, I've been thinking that maybe a demerit system, issued by the moderators would clean up the superfluous posting. Non-Beta posts, and off topic/hijacking replies would be labeled with a demerit emoji, only by the moderator. After x demerits in a certain time period the person would automatically be bounced from Beta.
agree in principle but the path of least resistance is for people to just post a question without checking to see if it has been reported before or if it's even appropriate to post to a specific forum.
until the "resistance" to posting this kind of stuff is increased, the problem won't go away.
Expecting people to read a post like this to know what's going on and what they should do, or even expecting people to read "pinned posts" first -- unfortunately, it is asking too much so long as the "path of least resistance" is so easy to take. I'm not saying that it's OK for people to do that, but it is the reality of how the vast majority of users behave on websites like this.
I've suggested previously a pop-up message when submitting a new forum post that reminds people what topics are appropriate, and also reminds users of appropriate initial troubleshooting that they should do prior to submitting a post. I think this would be a way to get folks to "think twice" about what it is they're posting and also would immediately answer/solve a significant chunk of "bugs". But, no one seemed very enthusiastic about that idea. (I still think it's the right way to handle it from a behavioral perspective, but that's just my own semi-professional opinion).
Lately I've also noticed an uptick in "bug reports" that are lacking even the most basic information needed to troubleshoot. Sometimes even just a screenshot without any attached explanation, as though it's self-evident what the underlying problem is (most often, it isn't so obvious -- unless it's a really serious visual glitch in which case deleting cache and reloading the website will fix it 9 times out of 10)...

Also a link to games would be helpful
Many of the posts in this club are about so-called "bugs" that can easily be fixed because they are a client-side error. And I'm not saying your posts are troll posts or illegitimate, but they do get slightly annoying. So here's a list of things I would do to make sure that the "bug" you found is actually a bug.
1. Take a screenshot ASAP, so that when you perform the next few steps and the bug is fixed, you can still report it if you deem is necessary and actually have evidence that something went wrong with the server or user interface.
2. "Clear cache"
This one is one everyone knows about, but it does solve a lot of problems. Clearing cache and refreshing the page, restarting your computer, etc. cleanses your browser data and makes things run faster and less "broken", if you know what I mean.
If the issue still persists, then it's likely a bug and you can report it. I'd advise using the "Report a Bug" feature that chess.com has by going down to the lower left corner and hovering over "Help", then clicking the button to report the bug. If it's something other than a minor quick-fix, you can report it here on the Beta forums. Hope this helps!
(this is meant to be an add-on to the already pinned forum here)
