Forum based game

Hello all,

I was thinking about starting an online, forum based D&D 5e game - I posted about it in the Notes, and regimental and glafnazur were our only takers so far, which isn't really enough.

If anyone else subsequently comes along and is interested, please post here, and we can review it and see if we have enough to get one started.

I would love to but don't have time.

I'd still be interested in running a forum game, but unfortunately it wouldn't be D&D 5e: my group is sticking with D&D 4e for now, and up next I'd like to give Monte Cook's The Strange a go.

I may be able, when would it be, and for how long at a time? I would generally be free from 2:00-2:45 pm, eastern time (US).

Two or three days a week that is, either Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Tuesday and Thursday.

Hey, thanks Potato - have to say that I still haven't learnt 5e. I did go through The Strange, and I have to say I was a bit disappointed - the flavour was a bit out of sync with what I like. I've been meaning to check out its stablemate Numenera, but have never gotten around to it.

I've started playing in an Amber Diceless RPG game in another forum myself, so I'm getting my RPG fix that way...

I mostly have 3e experience, a decent amount of AD&D 1st and 2nd, and a little 4th (just enough to get by), for 1st, I have read one module. I have no 5e experience, cool though.

We tried one a few years ago. I would be interested.

That makes two, I wonder if JerrySeinfeld69 would like it? He told me he has been researching other RPGs, and what better way to learn about RPGs than to play one?

So how would we want to do this anyway? Who would DM? Scott, would you want to? (as I said when I joined, I am already DMing 3 campaigns)

I have not played for years. I would not have time to put together a game and DM it. I have DM 2e.

Ok, and what edition would we play? I am willing to play any (even 4e if that's what people want).

Does anyone else want to play?

I do have a lot of D&D going on but I would be willing to DM.
