the "queen sacrifice" is a blunder. It's only a mate if the opponent doesnt play the best move (taking with the rook instead of the king), perhaps looking at the best moves yourself with the engine on would be helpful.

If you're referring to Qg1+, then the white king can just take the queen and there is no mate. That's why the game review considered it a missed win.
