Why did Saturday events suddenly get x2 in points? I do understand this was done in order to attract more people playing on Saturdays. But don't you think that will cause imbalance?

The Saturday events are once a month, and some people who can't play on Tuesday can play on Saturday.  Scoring them more highly gives people who play in Saturday events but not Tuesday a chance to at least get a decent overall result.

@will2009, can you clarify your objection?  One would expect someone always finishing first to get more points than someone always finishing second.
