Does this mean now that Opera browser VPN IP-s can't be used with chess.com anymore ? I tried to log in using Opera and it didn't worked for my own account ![]()
Hi,
A friend of mine has troubles to log in since two days. He tried to reset pass, but no joy as he said - simply nothing happens, when he enters username/pass no error messages just log in form resets.
I tried to log in, and indeed there is no "wrong username/password" error, no any errors whatsoever.
His username is "ivannikol" he's got some moves to make and we're afraid that going through support channel will take few days thus he could timeout some games.
If it's possible that someone resets his pass and PM me with instructions.
Edit:
This can be also considered as bug report/suggestion as there should be error displayed in case of wrong password or username. As it is now, it's confusing. Tested with my own account

Opera browser, opera vpn on - log in doesn't work, no errors displayed.
Tor browser - everything works fine.
