A and H pawns equipped w/ a trident. That means that the square directly one square above that pawn that has a trident—is killed and removed from the game. The trident can keep going on and on on squares one square above and above that pawn.
Also, a player can also make a move transferring a trident to another pawn—you could do that to give check or just to remove some annoying pieces. A pawn can promote to a trident pawn, and then it starts on its starting square. When a piece captures a trident pawn, then it gets the abilities of a trident.
One more thing: If a pawn makes a move that attacks the other king but breaks its own king, then the game is stalemate.
