Has it occurred to you that this can be muted or turned down on the end-user's system, "please show me where and how" if it annoys you so much but not enough to cause you to leave entirely? "this only serves as a inconvenience and we both know that, instead of cc allowing the user to have to take such actions against their original intended will cc should just change it, I don't see why that's a problem, this will save me from the inconveniences and everyone that forcefully hear random music from their device."
Some (many?) Browsers also let you mute the sound from a specific tab, etc. "You are gonna have to go a mission around CC to tell EVERY person that hears forceful music and tell them how to do that (also me) or just let cc do their jobs and save all of us the inconveniences."
Asking the website to police something like "their job, Yes" this when you can either a) just leave "I already told you why that's not a option" or b) just turn the volume down on whatever device you are using "Again, this is not a answer, your literally saying: hundreds of thousands of users (or tens of thousands, all that's in a music club) must put themselves though the inconvenience of having to lower down their Volume (Every Time) when cc can just do their job and fix or change it to make CC a less strenuous exercise because of a feature that doesn't help CC at all".... sorry to say, but it seems a little silly."Yeah, bud, right back at you"
The usefulness in having background music is that most humans tend to find it pleasurable, thus, making the club more attractive for newcomers and more pleasing for its members.
Saying that the music is being forced upon members of the club is akin to saying it's forcing people to play No Vacation tournaments simply because a TD is capable of making a tournament with that restriction. It's a radical statement that completely misses the point.
Each club has its own vibes - its aura - the music is additional sensory input to further establish that. It gives greater depth to the personality of the club - that is its usefulness.
I'm sure you rather have the opportunity to freely express your opinions in forums like this one. Are you forcing every member of this club to read this forum? Are you imposing that great evil upon us? That's ridiculous! We only read it and participate if we choose to - we can ignore a forum just like we can mute the music. Or, we could leave this club and never have to bother with these forums again just like we could leave a musically inclined club altogether. But, it's our choice. It's better to have options (like CC allowing you to make this forum) and everyone can customize as they wish than to have greater restrictions for the sake of an inflexible few.
