After an OK start and maintaining and ELO of 1100, which I thought was decent for a beginner I've lost 5 in a row.  Each loss is to a lower and lower rated opponent.  Training til now has been focused on lots o tactics and making decent openings. ...

After 2 embarrassing losses I had a decent game.  Pretty happy with the attacking moves as I saw them come together starting with the bishop sacrifice on move 10.  This cleared the way for Queen check on the next move.  My opponent shouldn't have...

It's been about a week back into chess.  Been doing lots o tactics.  Played first live game last night.  Got kicked around the board early, fought back and missed an easy checkmating move.  Play is still way too sloppy.
