I'm pretty new to using Chess engines so I have a couple of questions regarding it and would really appreciate it if someone could get me sorted:
1) I had read upon an article on Chessbase detailing the performance of various video cards and its effect on Fat Fritz. In this article, I found the term Nodes/Sec being used to compare the cards. I went through lots of technical stuff, but can someone give me a layman's version of what this is?
2) Is there a difference in performance between RTX Max Q GPUs and Non-Max Q GPUs when using Fat Fritz and Leela?
3) I'd also appreciate some Articles/Books you could refer me to so that I can better get acquainted with Chess engines.
