I do believe ChessUp_2 has taken care of the few glitches they had very quickly. They sold thousands and have had many happy customers. They have always been very responsive.

I have many "reservations" about the ChessUp2, it's not just a physical object you're buying but also a "network node", with all the risks that entails in terms of privacy, data collection, vulnerability, infrastructure dependancy and so on. Besides, the CU2 is a "closed system" (a "walled garden"), designed to be a physical extension of Chess dotcom (Lichess is an exception, not a rule) and that brings massive freedom limitations. As for the hardware reliability, while customer service is usually responsive, it's a risk to consider. If build quality and privacy are your priorities, then look elsewhere.

Im thinking of the chestnut air or the ChessUp 2, I like how the ChessUp 2 doesn't need a app bcs it has chess.com built in but if the screen stops working or breaks then -350$ so if y'all can js let me know if the chestnut air is good (I'm 200 elo as of now)
