hi. i have been playing chess for quite some. Whenevr i play a 10 min game i see that sometimes at the end of the game the quality of play of my opponent suddenly increases. i was 1750+ now it dropped to 1680. i dont mind losing but when i play 1500 players, i am beaten hands down sometimes. they play like they are 2200+. My point is why play against human opponents and use a computer. what is the point in increasing your stupid points and winning if u are cheating? i guess i have to stick to 1 and 3 min games. MOST ppl cheat and u can feel it.

"Cheaters" are not chess players. They are computer operators, who undermine our game and pretend to be chess players.

Cheating in chess
Cheating in chess refers to a deliberate violation of the rules of chess or other unethical behaviour
that is intended to give an unfair advantage to a player or team. Cheating can occur in many
forms[1]and can take place before, during, or possibly even after a game. Commonly cited instances
of cheating include: collusion with spectators or other players linking to remote computers,
rating manipulation, misuse of the touch-move rule, the pre-arranged draw, and the use of
psychological tactics to unsettle an opponent. Many suspiciously-motivated practices are not
comprehensively covered by the rules of chess and so, on ethical or 'moral conduct' grounds only,
may be judged by some as acceptable and by others, as cheating.

Just look at my rating 1120, it is obvious I don't cheat, my IQ is so low I would have to cheat to cheat, ha.
Wine is fine and thicker than water and it's more fomented.

If one cheats (by using a computer) then one is not using their brain, one is using their fingers.
Peace wine-os
When asked if using computers in online chess is "inherently unethical" many consider it so. Users of computers are labeled "cheaters.
Competitors mention that they would personally gain no satisfaction from winning if they used computer assistance.
On the otherhand many players would like to use an engine on line. There are sites like ICC and FICS that allow the usage of engines if explicitly stated, so that everyone can see it, shown e.g. with a (C) next to the name. Is this cheating?
We are all aware of this article and agree that this was cheating..I assume ?
