Of course.
Ask me any question, I will try my best to answer it.

Why do two non-parallel lines in two dimensions always intersect at a single point?
Because if they go on forever in both directions, eventually they will touch. Even if they are a decimal away from being parallel, they will still eventually meet.

Why do you have two "am"s in a row in a sentence?
That's just an oversight. Good job for pointing that out.

This is a true story.
When I started out in life, I had a bicycle to go to work. I got a cheap chain combination lock. Somebody snapped it with a bolt cutter and stole my bicycle.
My boss got me a used $10 bicycle from a yard sale. So this time I have to buy a better lock. The U-lock costs $20.
To this day, I can't comprehend my decision to buy the U-Lock. What would you do?
If I buy the lock, I lose $20.
If I don't buy the lock, I'll lose the $10 bike.
Why would I lose $20 to safeguard $10?
Does not compute . . .
Interesting story. Personally, I would not even bother with the lock for the bike because it's a ten dollar bike, chances are it's not something of luxury, what kind of loser would steal it. But if there was someone that was eying it up, I would camp out the bike and just sit and watch until someone tried to steal it. Once they steal it I would follow them in another ten dollar bike. Once they took it back to their house I would break in at the middle of the night and rearrange all of their furniture. Imagine what they would be thinking when they wake up to see their Sofa in the wrong spot.

Because we look at it from the non-monetary point of view - the bicycle is there for a reason. And it's your bicycle after all.

Why is the past tense of "go" called "went" and not "goed"?

Ok, I'll try.
This is a trick question. The question is not a trick. It's a trick question ala The Karate Kid, wax on wax off.
Go back in time.
To the days of the typewriter. I'm not even talking about electric, I'm talking manual. Only secretaries (women) use typewriters.
And I am a guy and I learn to use a typewriter back in the days. I'm thinking: everyone's handwriting is unique and sometimes illegible (even by the writer). It's logical to learn to type so you can communicate better.
But all the other guys make fun of me for being not too manly. But lo and behold in the future, everybody types!
What do I do if you're that first guy that learned to type and all the other guys look down and make fun of you?
I'll buy a typewriter and done
Actually typewriters are still in use

Why is the past tense of "go" called "went" and not "goed"?
Because english is a wacky language with wacky rules. I think that we should just talk by speaking in different pitches. A very low pitch could mean hello, while a very high pitch means goodbye.

I'll be honest, I'm not too sure why it's like this. Maybe when Mr. English made the language he was thinking that it'd be funny.

Similarly, the words "tour" (in "tournament"), "four" and "sour" are pronounced differently.
