Nooooo
RIP @Blueemu. He was extremely helpful and never rude, don't know why he was closed.
Yeah, really unfortunate. My guess is that it was a mistake by staff and he'll be back soon. I can't think of what he possibly could have done to get closed

I think some person prematurely reported blueemu, and convinced others to do so as well. But this is just a speculation ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
By the way, I want a year of free diamond, I wish chess.com would do something like ban me on Hikaru's stream unfairly... that way I could make a reddit post about it and get diamond like what happened to that one guy.
Which is to say... maybe they'll apologize and give him a membership

Yeah, that's all thanks to @Chessbae94 abusing her power as a chess.com mod to save Hikaru, when his declining chess ability failed to
He was a real asset to this place, and he is really knowledgeable about chess in general be it a position on the board or the history of the game. Hopefully he will be back. He doesn't seem like someone who would be closed for abuse.

That seems like the most likely outcome IMO. I'm sure Blueemu will be back with a membership, just like Covington

sad that they unbanned him. should have stayed banned :/

I couldn’t have said it better myself. Blue was my favorite poster in that he was a wealth of chess knowledge and he was always willing to share it.
It has turned into a "Blue Emu appreciation thread".
