Chess is not boring. When an opponent is true to the agreed time control that involves thought its usually quite exciting. Boring is the bullet monkeys that just worry about ratings and ruin the game. Thats boring. Because you know its a waste of time and nobody ever gets better at chess those jerks jus drag down both players. Thats boring.

Have you tried tic-tac-toe? I recommend that. There's also rock-paper-scissors, I recommend that to bored poker players.

If you want to make your experience with chess better you could definitely take a break or maybe start playing in OTB tournaments if you can, that's what revived my interest in the game. If you want a different game to play I'd recommend geometry dash, it's pretty cool

Ah, I completely forgot about that. Thank you though. I will try to participate in those type of tournaments. Geometry dash was also pretty fun, but it also got boring for me.
