Don't quit--just remember that you can counter-report lol
Getting Accused Of Cheating
Turning off chat certainly helps (I turned it off so long ago I cannot remember how many years ago) but does not eliminate the problem. Recently I received two “one word” messages from a recent opponent. The first said “cheater,” the second “reported.” When I tried to say “why.” He had blocked me, and just as quickly removed the messages he sent. So he gets to say what ever he wants and I cannot even report the verbal abuse because the message is erased. About the game yes I had to “build a bridge” and he was not happy about that but that tactic is well known.
Okay this game is insanity, by reading this post. I know you're black. It is very suprizing for me that he got better middle game and opening phase as 1200, and when decided to throw it, I would enjoy playing on move 17 as white. Obviously you're not a cheater

I was just moving honestly I had no interest in the game and was tired and blah blah blah. So I played like a player below 1000 until he blundered I saw how to take advantage
If you enjoy chess, don’t let a negative experience take that away from you. Every competitive environment has its frustrations. The more you play, the more you’ll learn to brush off these types of encounters.
Being accused of cheating is a compliment.
It's happened to me twice - in one case chummy wrote "reported". Either that individual did not go through with it, or it was found to be without merit, because I heard nothing further.
I see it as a compliment, though unintentional - the accuser is basically saying you played as well as Stockfish.
Recently a member has been accusing me of cheating for this game
I do not understand why as I simply took advantage of his blunders.. It has starting to anger me and he is trying to find things about me to "report" why do people behave like this? I can get being mad about a loss because it happens to me too but I am working on that as much as I can and have been getting a lot better. But it's just makes me want to quit chess...
