I Feel Old and Stuff...
Eee, 1970. Good year for me that. Learned to fly, among other things.
What did you learn to fly?
As for aging, I think the key is to continue your passions, no matter your talent level at that specific endeavor, AND, to try new activities. I'm not a star at chess, but I love learning new stuff. Who cares if I stink up the joint? Someone else might, but I sure don't.
Laughter is also key - hey, 10 or 90-100, get the water pistols out! Run around!
A week ago a 13yrs old kid told me in a conversation that she feels she’s big now...not kid anymore...she wasn’t happy with that either. Kids are often found claiming that they are mature enough and big, but they say it with proud and a happy face...but if any child says this with an upside down ‘u’ on his/her face...that means something is wrong..very wrong. And So was with her case....
can anyone help with some words of...well, anything ?

When I was growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Dad would take us tree hunting for Christmas. He grabbed the 12ga shotgun and we hiked into the woods until we found the right tree, and Dad would shoot the top off at about 7’. Some of those trees looked a lot like Charlie Browns. One year we wired in extra branches. I’d do it all over again!

well, lets see. were surrounded by water. so that wouldnt bode well 4u. but we have lotsa sand. and fishbones aplenty in the debris cans.
