Analysis Software

One of the most effective forms of study is to analyse your own games and annotate them. We are told we should do this initially on our own and then with the help of an engine. In this regard I have tried several playing and analysis programs including Fritz, Chessbase, Aquarium, Shredder, Tarrasch, Lucas Chess, SCID, SCID vs PC, and Arena.

My problem is that I would like to distinguish my annotations by showing those made without help in one colour and those made with engine assistance in another. Unless I am missing something, none of the programs listed above offers this facility. Neither can you italicize or embolden the text. Can anyone tell me otherwise or do you know of any other program that does provide any of these options?

I am aware that the distinction could be made by entering one set of annotations in parenthesis or in upper case text. I just feel it would be easier on the eye if a colour shift were available.

I'll have to look at SCID vs PC later but you could just put a quick text note on the first move to distinguish a line you analyze or that the engine does.
