I need some opinions on this book. Is this a good book for a beginning player? I'm rated around 1100-1200.

Have you read Irving Chernev's book Logical Chess: Move by Move? This also contains 33 thoroughly commented games and, in my opinion, would be more suitable for a beginning player.
